Life is supposed to be good to us, and when it's not, the community shows us with both relief and celebration.
We provide rent and utility assistance for individuals and families in crisis while raising funds through joyful cultural events that remind our community: asking for help is courage, not failure.
It's our mission to lift the financial weight and the shame-sowing people that help can come wrapped in dignity, cultural celebration, and the reminder that life can still be beautiful.

As of January 2025, the average monthly electric bill in the U.S. is $144.84.

These expenses can make it tough to handle the basics/; like food, clothes, getting around, or staying healthy.

SELECTION PROCESS:
Applicants must apply or be nominated online at theshowmefoundation.org for consideration. Final applications will be reviewed by the board. Once selected, winners will be notified. Followed by email announcement (if agreed upon by the winner)
Our goal is to assist families by keeping their lights on, water running, and homes warm. When needed, we’ve got their backs with rent or mortgage support, too! All payments go straight to the utility companies and landlords, making sure the help lands exactly where it’s needed.
